Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class: More Than Just a Luxury Car

The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class - Unmatched Quality

When someone says, Luxury Car – the first car that will come to your mind is Mercedes-Benz. Well, you are not mistaken and thousands of auto experts all over the world will agree with you. Mercedes-Benz is synonymous to luxury; imagine a classy car with spacious interior coupled with hand-crafted soft leather seats and a well-designed dashboard. If you’re looking from the outside, you’ll see a modest yet stunning presence of a luxury sedan. Truly, Mercedes is a world-class brand and unmatched quality is one of its best selling point.

For the year 2013, it’s time for the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class – a line-up of midsize sedans with a coupelike design. With the CLS-Class, Mercedes becomes more aggressive-looking than its predecessor. Its overall features are based on the E-Class generation that shares the same V8 engine. So, the CLS-class has far better handling and performance with more refinements like an adaptive suspension and a more rigid structure. Mercedes-Benz is still the standard of quality in the auto industry.

There are two prominent Mercedes in the CLS Line-up; it starts with CLS550 which is equipped a V8 4.7-liter twin-turbo engine. It can pump up 402 horsepower with a seven-speed automatic transmission and a rear-wheel drive. However, there is a “4Matic” option for this car and it’s an all-wheel-drive but if you get this particular variant the price will surely jack-up a bit. Usually, the CLS550 is commonly seen as an executive car for high ranking corporate officials.

The higher version in the line-up is the CLS63 AMG which goes further in terms of engine and an AMG Performance feature. This classy sedan comes with a 5.5-liter V8 twin-turbo engine. All the power generated goes to the rear wheels and with a seven-speed automated manual transmission - you can be sure that the CLS63 can deliver the ride and handling you deserve. Other features include in the package are limited-slip differential, carbon-ceramic brakes and forged alloy wheels.

Overall, Mercedes-Benz can still hold its own on the road and because it is considered as an executive luxury car. It’s the most prominent ride for corporate officials – giving it an aura of power and exclusivity. In terms of performance and handling, the CLS series will never fail you.
